Sunday Message from Haiti
Announcements & Rev. Glen Wells' message heard live during this week's service to a church run by the Northern Haiti Sustainability Mission. For more info see https://nhsi.live.
(Due to a computer issue the remainder of this week's service is not available.)
Good afternoon from Haiti church.
Sorry for the technical issues around my sideways preaching. I do like to keep everything on the level. Thank you, James for getting things turned around for the Youtube version.
After preaching the message we had a time for prayer ministry. Over half of the congregation responded to the message seeking prayer. One young mom made a decision to become a Christian following the message.
I have lots to share with you about the ministry but will wait till I come back home next week, God willing.
Thank you for all your prayers and support -- count yourselves as partners with me for all that God is doing in this ministry trip. It's been very fruitful.
Here is summary of the sermon, I know it was hard to process with the sound and the translation, so thank you for your grace.
In Christ,
Rev. Glen Wells
Sunday, we were reminded that death is real and it’s coming for all of us, but God sees our struggle and loves us deeply. He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to live the perfect life, to battle sin and death on our behalf, and to win the victory once and for all. Jesus took on our pain, our fear, and our debt—paying it with His blood—and rose again so that we might live forever with Him. This is not just a story; it’s a promise from the Lord of the universe that when we call on His name, He will save us and carry us through every failure and fear.
So when life’s disappointments and the weight of this world start to crush you, don’t let them win. Call on Jesus’ name with everything you have, and let His love heal your broken heart and strengthen you to stand firm. Remember, the battle is over because He has already won for you—now it’s our turn to say yes to that love and live as part of His army overcoming evil.
