Grace United has been praying in this town since 1844. Through two world wars, a depression, a church union that split congregations all over this province, and a pandemic that emptied this room for the better part of two years. It is still here. Not because everyone agreed — they plainly did not — but because in every generation, somebody let something go.
On Sunday we mark 182 years, and we would love the room to be full of people who have been part of it. If you were married here. If you were baptized here. If your mother ran the kitchen, or your father sat in the same pew for thirty years, or you have not been through the doors since you were fifteen —come home for the morning. There is a seat and there is coffee, and nobody will ask you where you have been.
