Women

Grace United Church Women

Our group meets the last Monday of each month at 9:30 am at Grace. Meetings consist of a time of devotion, a program or guest speaker.  Additional work meetings are held to focus on activities such as making quilts, articles for missions and a recycling program.

Other projects the we take on throughout the year include making fruit and meat pies, catering for parties, luncheons, dinners, and teas,  our own Christmas Market, and supporting local missions and church projects  including restoration of the Seneca Methodist cemetery

In June 2013 a stained glass window was purchased for the Grace sanctuary to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the UCW.  We recognized our past president Eva Lynn with a lifetime membership in 2025.

Sisters-In-Spirit

Mission Statement:
To love and support each other through fellowship, fun and outreach.

Our Sisters-In-Spirit group, which has been running since 2013, has a membership of about 16 women.  From supporting the women's shelter and wider church, to board games and finger food days, to crafting sessions and off-site excursions, we enjoy much fun together.

All our gatherings include a Devotional, and we always have fun.  We have plenty of room in our hearts for any woman who might be interested in joining us for fellowship and friendship.  Give us a try.

She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.
