Caledonia Legion Poppy Fund

Last year 82 Quilts were sent to the Mennonite Central Committee in Waterloo (these quilts done by the Grace Quilters are sent around the world).  Over 20 crocheted blankets were sent to the Women’s Shelter in Simcoe for gifting.

Items we collect:

• Pop and Beer top tabs for the Robert Hampson Tabs for Kids fund
• Postage stamps, religious books and magazines delivered by Fran Gallimore
• Old eye glasses delivered to a Caledonia Optometrist for use in other countries
• 9”x12” knitted rectangles given to St. Paul’s Anglican Church Prayer Shawl Group to be made into blankets for Warm Up Canada
• Milk Bags given to Nancy McBride at St Paul’s that are made into ground sheets
• Egg cartons are needed at the Food Bank
